I am not suggesting that bitnesses get mixed intentionally, I am only lamenting the fact that all my 32 bit Office users need to uninstall the 32 bit Runtime, upgrade Office to 64 bit, then install the 64 bit Runtime and the new version of my app.

It describes the problem but does not give a link to a runtime that will allow office to run along with the older access based program. If you follow the link trail it ultimately leads to downloading Office which will remove Office What I would like is a direct link to an Access runtime that will allow both Office to run and the proprietary software.
Either will run fine on this machine alone. I guess you need a VMWare or VM visualbox which can build another visual machine to run windows system environment and another Access on it.
